A Community Owned Cleaner Power Station

an MCRE community meeting from 2015

A key feature is the local community will be invited to invest in and own Manilla Solar!

This investment is happening in 2023 and 2024 - learn more about being an investor.

Manilla Solar is backed by local community energy group, Manilla Community Renewable Energy (MCRE) and its industry partners. MCRE secured a $3.5 million grant from the NSW Government Regional Community Energy Fund in 2020.

The project includes a 5 MW Solar Farm that has development and grid connection approval, valued at approximately $10 million. The solar farm will generate the equivalent annual electricity of powering over 2,500 NSW homes, reducing approximately 10,000 Tonnes of CO 2 annually being emitted into the atmosphere.
